I’m listening to the first album to rock my world since Vs. came out 16years ago. It’s called Dark Was the Night and holds 31 exclusive tracks from some of the most talented artists that I’ve heard (and some that I’ve not heard) in recent years.

If I had a bar then I would play this album on repeat and everyone would be happy. This gives me the idea to host a Dark Was the Night CD listening party and raise money for the group that the album benefits, the Red Hot Organization, dedicated to fighting AIDS through pop culture. In the meantime the album will be on repeat for me and the Chihuahuas.

I even like My Brightest Diamond after listening to her version of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good on Disc 1. Never thought that would happen. But she’s probably still annoying live.
